What the widget collects

The uniqu widget that loads on customer sites collects no personally identifiable information about end users. End-user accessibility preferences (e.g., "high contrast on") are stored in localStorage on the visitor's device. No data about the visitor is sent to uniqu's servers.

What the dashboard collects

When you sign up for uniqu, we collect your email address, name (optional), and the domains you add for scanning. Authentication is handled by Clerk; their privacy policy also applies.

Scan data

When you run a scan on your site, we store the URLs of the pages we scanned and the HTML snippets of any accessibility violations we detected. This data is shown to you in your dashboard and is not shared with third parties.

Cookies

The widget sets no cookies. The dashboard uses an HTTP-only session cookie managed by Clerk for authentication.

Third parties

We use the following service providers: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, database, scanning infrastructure). Each has their own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Account deletion removes your personal information, your sites, and all scan data. Aggregate, non-identifying telemetry may be retained.
